"We Are Who We Are"

Growing up without parents is hard, but growing up with siblings only is harder. I remembered how strict my sister with us before. I was always cornered in asking what time do I get home (cause I was always hanging out with friends playing volleyball), while my brother was always the one who got beat up. While not beat as in horribly beaten, but yeah.. the belt did it all. haha.

I used to hear family stories from my friends before, and somehow I did wish that too. How they were complete. And it is true that God will give you all of our needs. Because I remember even though parents weren’t with us, God gave us loving grandmothers. He gave us supporting relatives. We became closer with cousins and He gave us each other. I wouldn’t say my life was a hell when we were growing up, but I would say my life was full of blessing and will still be having God’s blessing. For I know God does not desert His people.

We three may have learned life the hard way, but isn’t life like that somehow? We can’t just give up, the learning continues, and we might as well accept it and grow out of it.
