Checking In....
I just got back from Germany yesterday. whew! what a trip.
Business trip started from 3/6 - 3/24.
I went to our factory in China first, to meet our customer LG. It was my 1st meeting with Claude. He was nice, and i was surprised when he bought me a super cool gift! He gave me a mp3 player from LG. cool eh? i thought of giving that to my sister.... coz i told her that i will give her my Acer mp3 before, but it broke last Christmas *crap!*
Anyways, i stayed in China till that Sunday, and we went to Hannover, Germany the next day. It was a pretty busy week. Mostly, we are standing in our leather black shoes with black stockings, skirt and longsleeves shirt. Even though this is my 2nd time to go for the CeBit this year, it is still hard for my feet just kills me each day! can you imagine what would it be like to stand almost every day, i mean "almost" as we get to our booth at 9 and we finished at 18:00 hours, STANDING. yup, u heard me right, STANDING. There were a lot of times that we were invited by our customers for dinner, and me, i just want to go back and lay down, put my feet up and snore. snore as loud as i can, and i don't care. haha!
But i can say that i became more aware of what is happening to me, i tried noticing small things, taking care of the little details, and making an effort to smile at everyone. I remembered that the 1st few days, i would just go inside the meeting room for a water, sit a bit, take my shoes off, closing my eyes and just pray. There i thought, i really thought that i wouldn't make it. But i am fully aware that i am not alone, even though my church is far away from me, it doesn't mean that God is far away from me. I remember that i can have the strength, the wisdom, the patience... everything i needed, it's there, i just need to open up my mouth and ask God from it. Thoughts of my last Sunday at church coming back, how my Pastor and everyone prayed for me. Spiritually and physically, i have to stay strong. That trip really exhaust me. From Frankfurt to HK, it is 11:32 hours flight. Then i have to transfer from HK to Taipei, and it is another one and a half flight. When i got in the taxi, i dozzed off. haha! Good thing my mom picked me up at the airport. I wasn't sleepy last nite, i went to bed 2am in the morning, i couldn't get up for church today, and when i woke up, i was surprised it was already 14:30 in the afternoon!? wow!
i miss everyone here, especially my friends at church *sniff*
so nice to be back, really.
Angie sent me an email, a hallmark greeting card.
which actually meant to be sent days after i left, but she said, the days went by weeks then so on... haha!
Oh, and by the way, there was a cool guy back in Germany. He was just across our booth.
He has a very irresistible face, dressed in cool suit with his brown leather shoes, always have a mug on his hand, nicely shaved face and a charming smile. (Angie said he sounds dreamy)
I don't think i'll see him again till the next CeBit at Germany next year. He is based there, He's a German. One thing consoles me is, he is one of our customers. His boss, a Taiwanese guy, took us out when we were there, but shoot! He only took his Chinese sales representatives! *creep*
anyways, i'm back! back to reality!
haha....
