" Bruce Almighty "

Do you know the movie " Bruce Almighty "? The movie starred Jim Carrey, Jennifer Aniston and Morgan Freeman?... I just finished watching it tonight. and it's good!

It's a story starred by Jim Carrey as Bruce Nolan, he's a television reporter in Buffalo, N.Y., who is discontent with almost everything in life despite his popularity and the love of his girlfriend, Grace (Jennifer Aniston). At the end of the worst day of his life, Bruce angrily ridicules and rages against God -- and God responds. God appears in human form (Morgan Freeman) and, endowing Bruce with divine powers, challenges Bruce to take on the big job to see if he can do it any better.

I have to admit. It didn't called my attention at first, bcoz i thought it's another "Jim-Carrey movie". (well, i liked the movie "Liar liar") and maybe bcoz Jennifer Aniston is not really one of my favorite actress. but i have to say that the movie is good. When Bruce had the power God gave him, the scenes were so funny! Especially when he ordered a bowl of soup (4got what kind of soup was that, but it's red.. maybe a tomato soup?haha) and when he had it, he used the power he had, and the soup just part as half, just like in Bible. When the Isralites are crossing the Red Sea, and they continued to walk through the sea on dry ground. That part really got my attention! wasn't it funny? :D

And when everything's going smoothly for Bruce, he got the newscaster-job. People start loving him, he became popular, coz he gets the first news in TV. He lost Grace inspite of all of these. And when Grace left him, he did everything he could, since he got the powers right? but no! that's not the answer. When Grace's sister came to collect her things, her sister told him what Grace do before going to bed, she said that Grace says her prayer every night, prayer for Bruce. and when he saw it himself, it just broke him more.

But in the end, Bruce just couldn't take it anymore, he just doesn't know what to do. He said, " I want You to decide for me. I surrender to Your will. " and when Freeman asked him if he wants Grace back, (of course he wants her back, but she saw how sad was Grace ) he answered him, " No, I want her to be happy. "

There are some people who are soooo self-centered. who are selfish. they only think of themselves. But are they really happy that way? People beside them, are they happy too? (they suffer most, i guess!) It's not gonna be quick to change, but atleast u should try. (well, I'm still trying! haha)
